Hi to all, this is my firt post, im a well versed 3d modeler and also a 3d printer owner, i would like someone to recommend me an accesorie i could 3d model and make the file under public domain dedication so anyone can have it printed in their local 3d printer store or at home... i still dont own a bjd, im in the process of 3d modeling and printing my own, but because its a big endeavor i would like to tackle a smaller task and share it, so i ask what would be apreciated that its hard to find or get... im between a crown, a hand held mirrow, the base of a wedge or pump heels, maybe some furniture? a vintage dress stand??? please advice, what would you like to try to 3d print? ... thanks in advance. cheers!
I don't see eye glasses too often and I've never seen a pair with flashy shaped frames usually they're just the plain rounded ones but nothing like this
I love the idea of glasses. though perhaps some sort of food props would be a good idea? Something simple like a stack of pancakes. or a cinnamon roll. then you can move up from there.
oh, what a fun idea. Maybe the soles of shoes? they always seem like a challenge to make from scratch.
I would like a record players and records and 45's and 8 track tapes. I can't find any retro music stuff.
I’ve been looking for super high heel platform shoe bases for minifees and sd girls! Like really high, like “stripper” shoes because I think when embellished well they look very elegant, that’s the sort of style fairyland does. A high resin heel platform with some lace appliques on it.
Shoe lasts, for different sized dolls and different styles of shoes, plus the soles to go with them. There is a niche market that I really wish someone would fill!
I’ll vote for shoe lasts/bases too, do you live near some people with dolls to trace their feet to practice making some? That is very needed item in the hobby.
An ancient Egyptian collar type necklace. The metropolitan museum has wonderful images of Princess Sit Hathor Iunets jewelry. I would sell my soul to Satan for a copy of it sized to fit my Iplehouse EID,( his neck is 12.8 cm in circumference), let me know if you are interested in making such an item, pretty please! I think there would be a lot of interest in historical crowns and famous pieces of jewelry, swords, guns, daggers, animal masks for dolls, maybe ink bottles and quill pens, wine goblets, silverware, hand tools, scissors, combs, paint tubes, classical Greek pots ( Would a volute krater or an amphoriskos be cool , or what !?) Ooh, or the Ardagh chalice, I am drooling at the very thought!
As a not-at-all well-versed 3D modeler or printer, I have been tinkering with designs for glasses, masquerade style masks, shoes (not just bases.. I have an idea for a hinged shoe which clicks together, but don't know where to even start when it comes to modeling a shoe) miniature props such as magical girl's staff / unusual weapons my characters use, replacement hands in various poses or conditions which are tough to execute on a doll (such as hands wearing gloves, or an entire appendage replacement piece which could make possible, for instance, crossed arms or an "akimbo" pose so the hands would hold naturally on the hips and STAY) Some of these could surely be scaled up/down or minimally modified from existing models, but I don't know how to do it. Yet..! (so feel free to play with or steal any ideas which may spark your interest!)
