Story: Nia was born mute in Fey. Imagining herself a burden to her family, she left home and Fey. Making her way alone proved more attractive as an idea than a reality, and being unable to speak in an unfamiliar world was difficult. In a village market, she was accused of stealing and tried to sign her innocence. They took her for a guilty fool. A young demon stayed the blade of judgment, and she followed him for over 60 years on his strange quest to acquire arts of destruction and find the man he was meant to protect, balancing his intensity with her pragmatism, caring for him and keeping him sane. Somewhere in those 60 years, she fell in love with him, even though she knew it would remain unrequited; she sealed away the love and instead cherished him as family. The two came to stay at a small kingdom, the steward of which fell deeply and silently in love with her. Thinking she has given her heart to her dark companion, the steward has never betrayed his desire. Oh for pity's sake!
