Description:
If you like perfect dolls this one is not for you. First, there is some asymetry in the sculpt. The most obvious is that the horn is not perfectly centered. Secondly, original resin color was imho ugly, so I dyed it. But since it is such a complex sculpt with lots of details (wings I am looking at you), the dye did not take homogeneously. You can see on the picture that the wings are kind of mottled. THIS IS NOT SUBTIL. Personally I find it beautiful, it gives the doll a lot of character, but it's not for everyone. True color is difficult to capture on picture, but on my screen it very close to the calves of the doll in the first picture.

The doll spent most of its time unstrung in a box, waiting for me to finish it. But I really need to downsize so here she go

Doll was restrung just before posting this ad. The wings are pre-strung, like how it arrived to me (shipping the doll with strung wings would require a very big box...)
Last picture is an old picture that shows how the doll was pre-modifications. You can see how it looks with the wings (and the orange resin, but it's not so orange on picture as it was in reality). I can unstring it if you really want.

This doll is not sold by DV anymore, and I have never seen another Gloria on sale on DoA or Insta, so if you like the sculpt, this might be one of your only chance to get it

Damage: no damage

Modifications: subtractive modifications (sanding, carving, etc.), dyeing, spray painting or other permanent color change
Details: Original resin color was really really orange, like a botched fake tan. So I have dyed the doll a darker tan, more desaturated. To me it seems close to the coffee skintone that some manufacturers propose, but I don't have any doll with this color so I cannot compare.
Dye is not homogenous, especially on the wings. Everytime there is a crease in the scultp, the resin could not be sanded by me or the manufacturer, and the dye did not take much in the creases compared to flat surface. I'm not proficient at make-up, but I believe that all the imperfections could easily be hidden by a bit of make-up, except for the wings who would require more extensive make-up (but I find them truly beautiful as they are). In the picture with red annotations you can see some of the imperfections. It's quite difficult to have them visible on pictures, but I tried my best. There are more imperfections than what I circled. It's not possible to circle everything on every piece because it's like this everywhere. But the imperfections I have highlighted are representative of the rest of the imperfections.
Dyeing the doll preserved the translucency.
Dye can be completely removed with nail polish remover WITHOUT ACETONE. I did it 2 times on the head because the dye was too inhomogeneous and required more sanding. So I know for sure that it works.
Some pieces were sanded and dyed several time to get a more homogeneous result. I cannot say which pieces I sanded, but at least the head.
Boobs were completely sanded to achieve a more neutral look.
