50–65cm Dolls 2ndhand Volks Isao Nanjo 1st box opening

I ordered him from Dolly Teria along with my MSD girl, so their boxes came taped together as one mega-box with their individual doll boxes inside.



His box is a bit dented, but considering he's 19 years old, it's to be expected! It's not too torn or creased to be used and it still has the stickers from his Dolpa launch.



One mummified doll plus wig. He came with his fullset outfit (though I forgot to take pictures of it) minus the shoes and I know why. If you look carefully at the bottom of the box, you can see black marks from where the pleather disintegrated. I'm guessing he was stored in his outfit for a number of years.



Partially unwrapped, but extra protection on his hands, head, torso and feet. Both my dolls were safely protected this way so I'm very pleased with Dolly Teria's packing methods.



One hand free! Hard to see with winter overcast light, but he's definitely yellowed and has a little scrape on his left hand. All of this was disclosed in his sale description and I'm not expecting a doll from 2004 to not be yellowed!



There are black marks on his feet and legs, backing up the stored in pleather boots theory.



One protected head!



And here he is fully unwrapped! Because of his age, he has no magnets in his headcap. His last owner put some wig velcro on the heapcap, which is useful as I can generally keep his head shut with a wig.

Thank you! Most of his fullset has survived barring the shoes and the black pleather belts. I'm just waiting for a bit of a warm day (I'm in Australia so it's winter right now) to give him a bit of a wash, then I'll try the full outfit on

 

He's a classic! I love that his left hand is the perfect size to curl around my finger, haha.
