2D Dolls

I believe they are resin not vinyl.

 

I just saw them yesterday and I think they look super cool Just wish they had mini size as well. But there is something about these dolls that I think is different from other anime dolls I've seen. I feel kinda drawn to that

I've been thinking about trying out the anime styled dolls for SO long, but never found the time to order one. Other dolls always got in the way

But I think Alice look real cool and if I find out I wanna give these dolls a try, then I think she could be a good start. I think Xiao Jiu is adorable to. They sure are tempting!

Like some of the girls in 60cm size, but right now the face sculpts are not my cup of tea

 

I discovered them today as well, through Winddolls as they are also a dealer for 2D Doll now. They look really interesting and cute~ I've also wanted a doll with anime-aesthetics for a long time now and am considering getting a Dollfie Dream. After finding these dolls I'm now debating if I should get one instead. :'D
I really like Alice and their bodies look very pretty.

Too bad I can't find any owner pics of these dolls...

 

I would not mind owning a few of these. But I have a lot of plans already as it is. It's hard to resist these faces though when you finally found a type of anime dolls that you like

Alice is really cool looking and her outfit to. I kinda wish I had not seen her right now..


I think I'm just gonna have to forget sbout these dolls for a while and just enjoy the owner pictures instead.

 

The body looks very very similar to a resin Dollfie a Dream Dynamite.

 

Hm, it would be cool to see a comparison between the 2D and DDdy body.

Thought I'd start a discussion thread for these chubby cuties!
I really, really love those bodies!!
The heads are a little less attractive to me, I like SQLab heads better, but just imaginge the cute hybrids you could make!

 

Same here, I love the bodies but none of the heads are to my liking. I really wish this company had a website with a small picture comparing their 4 resin options or least had one for Wind Dolls and Alice Collection's to put up.

I'm also really curious about resin matches for other companies

 

I'm pretty tempted. I like Qian Ye's squarish jaw and pointy chin. The bodies look like DDdy bodies to me. I wish there were more posing pics so I can see what the knee & elbow joints look like.

The price is a little off putting, especially since I have no idea what the quality is. And I'd like to see what their resin colors look like. I dunno, maybe I'll take a chance on a new company.

 

I saw these dolls on Alice's Collection yesterday, they are super cute. I wonder if the eyes will be sold separately?
I think the heads are nice, some have very sweet expressions.

The resin colors are the same as Dikadoll.

I know for a fact that SQ Lab white skin (for DD, so the pinkish color) matches perfectly with Dikadoll Normal Pink skin because I had both dolls at home.

I've been looking for a resin body to replace the DD that my Juri '05 is on... this is sorely tempting. That body is really cute!

Alice Collections has quite a mark-up, don't they? The price difference is over $100 @_@

 

WOW! If you bought straight off the website they cost about $320. That is quite a mark up. Is there a shopping service you can use to buy in China?

Qian Ye would make a good Kaname Madoka character doll, or rather her head is the right shape. With that body she'd make a good Tomoe Mami Wish they sold the heads separately.

I mean, then there's around 4% SS fee + shipping to them + shipping to you.
That'a lót of fees there on top of the China website price.

 

I don't know, I've never used a shopping service myself and the only ones I know anything about are for Taobao unfortunately. I assume they're too new to have an international site (at least, I couldn't find one on Google). They are looking for dealers according to what I could glean from Google translate.

Just saw in the announcements this website is selling 2D Dolls! They are still $450, however they also sell just the blank head for $99.

 

Oneday I'll definitely get my first anime doll. I have two that I want. Luts HDF Coco and 2D Doll Alice. I'm not quite sure yet which should be my first of the two. But I think maybe I should start with Coco because she's smaller and because I want a suntanned anime girl.

I was hoping to be able to buy one while they are on sale but stupid bills are taking all my $$$

I would really like to own one of these. I feel VERY tempted to get one of the SD sized ones. But for now I'm trying to not stress through my wish list.

Thirding! I looked for layaway options on their site but didn't find anything. Maybe they don't offer it anymore? I think they used to but I have not ordered from them very often so I'm not sure.

 

I asked and did one in december. It wasn't an option when buying, I had to ask and I received a payment schedule for the layaway.

 

Like Skimo said, you just mail them to ask for it and your plan (I beliebe they accept up to 4 month layaway last time I asked them).

I like these girls and I can't wait to see what the company does in the future.

BUT I'd be a lot more tempted if they had an MSD size line.

 

If you are interested in smaller size dolls with anime features you can check out the SQ Lab dolls, they are between SD and MSD size.

 

I can't keep away from these cuties. I'm going to try and order Xiao Ai under a layaway, but AC hasn't responded to my email yet. I sent them an email on the order yesterday after finding out that was the cutoff date for the sale! Hopefully I can still get that deal? It's not too much of a problem though.
I'm ordering her in normal pink skin, and if I like her enough I'm thinking of getting another to hybrid with an SQ Labs head. I fell so hard for these bodies once I saw them in my AC Newsletter email! I really love their stocky looking bodies and those wide hips.

I sure hope they're as awesome in person as they are in the pictures!

 

AC is super fast when it comes to email communications! I asked them about 2D Dolls and the layaway system. Here is the reply i got,

Sadly, my plans to buy her will be delayed for two weeks because food shopping just took over!

acbjd told me their white are: pure white is paper white, while white is a light cream color~

and i caved and ordered the body a month ago almost!!! ill hybrid it with a supiah head (supia in white while 2D body in pure white)
im aware that i mightttt need to mod the neck, but lets see how this goes~ none shipped yet

Hey I looked on the official site and there is a 42 CM option! And if you click it shows spots. So I'm guessing they are making msd versions now? Omg that would be amazing 0.0!! So I'm a new 2d doll follower, I looooove the SD body. To cute!

I really like the body style! Wish they had something between "pink" and "yellow" in their resin colors though -- I'd probably be putting a relatively-new Volks resin head on one, and I don't think either color would match terribly well, since Volks is peach-y with a yellow undertone.

(Has anyone done a Volks/Dikadoll hybrid? I'd guess "normal yellow" would be closest, but maybe the pink photo is just extra-pink in the Dikadoll shot.)
