I have an old picture of my Dagny-kins (Ryung) in green-grey 16 mm glass eyes and a carrot Leekeworld wig. =D I'm looking to get her a new face-up some time soon so her tone won't be so red. ^^

I don't know if my Inanna really looks overly irish but her character is and proud of it too. Normally Inanna's wig is more wine but... I do have a "carrott" wig she wears on occassion.

So I think my boy fits in here. He has red hair, green eyes, and freckles. How ever his freckles are very light, and you have to look a little to see them, but I did go for a natural look. He is a real redhead ^^

Nomi's my true irish boy, though he has ice blue eyes rather than green. He still has freckles & moles all over his body and lots of red hair!

...does 'traffic-cone orange' count as something akin to red?

It's never mentioned in-series, but in my head-canon Kiyo's part Irish. I can't think of any other good explanation for how a Japanese kid ended up with HOLYCRAPORANGE hair and bluegreen eyes.
