I forgot I had made a list in 2023 for all the BJD related projects I wanted to make. So I did make some of them, and a lot of that list is no longer wanted lol I actually sold some of the dolls that had items on the list. Typical me. Anyway I think it’s time for a new “wishlist” of projects! • Baby prop for Twig and Faeblina • Corduroy Jacket for Minifee • Knit white beret hat • Finish sweater pattern for Minifee • Draft Gingham sweater for Minifee • Faceup for Xaga doll • Faceup for AE doll • Paint nails on everyone outstanding (^added 12•15•2025 )• Sew on full outfit for AE doll • Sew one full outfit for Xaga • Paint Minifee sword • Sweater pattern for AEdoll (^ added 01•12•26)I’ll likely add more throughout the year if I have a burst of inspiration haha But for now this is my to-do list. Everything in black still needs to be done. Everything in blue is completed. As I complete the project, I’ll add photos to my journal! I think having this list will help motivate me and give me direction when I want to create but not sure what to do.
All the nails I needed to paint, so far lol, have finally been done! Neoma has been waiting 5 years for her manicures
Sweater is complete and the pattern was finally written out and edited. It is uploaded to my Ravelry store. I want to make more! Drafting patterns is fun
Wee baby elf Twig and Faeblina finally have their baby! I collected this acorn in the fall with the intention of making a teeny tiny baby prop. It’s the perfect size, and even comes with a hat! I drew a face on the acorn with markers, then cut out a square of lightweight fabric. The body is just a bit of teddy bear fluff and some thread to shape it. I hot glued it all together to make a little swaddle for the sleeping baby elf.
This is such a great idea! I have so many doll plans that I hope to do this year. I might start my own thread like this! Good luck on your journey. I adore the sweater you made and the nail painting is just lovely!
Thank you! It’s fun to keep track of projects you make. I like this format cuz some of the smaller projects aren’t like “worthy” of a full post on their own haha And it’s fun to reflect later on all the fun projects that were done throughout the year.
