    2. Oh! I was expecting it to be in November.

      lol better get sewing.

    3. The SD BJD Con, aside from last year, has been held at the Marina Village for the 6 previous years. It really does have a big parking lot, and I've never heard of it filling up. You might have to park towards the edges, but I think there's enough space for everyone. I've always been able to find a space that's pretty close during those 6 years.

Yeah... slightly different dates this year! I think they didn't want it to conflict with another bjd con?

    13. What is the facebook link? I am tossing around the idea of attending but all I find are websites for old San Diego BJD conventions, and we are coming from out of town.

    22. Really excited about it brining CODENOiR goodies tomorrow! I'll be next to MegannArt, and sharing help at her booth--my younger daughter and our mutual friend Melissa will be helping us at both tables.

I thought I might mention, while late, that you are welcome to ask about trades. I am currently absolutely obsessed with well-crafted kimono, wigs that look like they would look nice one dolls wearing kimono, Korean Han Bok, and Chinese Ancient dress and hair accessories. I will have lots to sell and trade--and I really love trades!

Also, I'm looking for an Iplehouse Soo, and a JID Asa (I'd love those Iplehouse outfits, too), and I might even buy them from you. And I'm always looking for another fairyland chicline girl, or another doll in similar size (or body). I'm bringing a few used dolls to trade/sell, and I have a ton of fantastic new CODENOiR goodies for you to check out and even better, TRY ON. :)

It's going to be so much fun! I can't wait to see you there. CODENOiR is a new company, growing fast and adding new sizes all the time. And I really want to hear your input. Do you want to be a retailer? I want to help you! I'd love to have more team members, or to help you add fantastic wigs, shoes and outfits to your shop (online or brick and mortar)! Come talk to me! It's the best year to sign up as a vendor!

      Alison
(This year--my hair is mostly blue and purple with a bit of blonde in there!) and really, come try it on! If it doesn't work--I want to know what you're looking for, and I will pass along you deepest (bjd) desires to our company! They care about you, too!

    23. Well, I got my tintypes taken of my dolls! Such a perfect thing for a Steampunk theme!

It's always such a rush--everything on one day. But very good. Lots of great vendors. Beautiful costumes. Fantastic sets/dioramas/props. Congrats to those who won the auctions for those. And for the Costume Contest winners!!!!!

And thanks to everyone who worked to put this con on. It's such a great time. :abow::dance:thumbup

--I hope someone posts photos. My camera is wandering around in Connecticut or Detroit... so I didn't get many decent photos.

    24. I had fun today. It was the first time I've attended a doll convention and I had a really great experience. Everyone was super friendly and I hope to attend another one on the future.

    25. It was great to meet everyone and see so many amazing dolls. I had a lot of fun buying and selling stuff, and meeting new folks. The props were amazing, and the venue was so pretty!

Towards the end, someone came back to me last-minute to buy a head. It was late and she showed on her phone a confirmed paypal payment, but the funds were never sent even tho it was a discounted price. She had long brown curly hair. I guess we should always confirm payments at those sorts of things :(

    26. LuvPetdolls, that really is terrible. I hope that the person will realize the Paypal did not go through and contact you. Most bjd folk are honest. Or at least I like to think so!

--->>> Anyone who bought a head at the BJD con, please check your Paypal to make sure the payment went through, or contact LuvPetdolls, please! <<<---

@zekarmisama -- Thanks for the link to your photos! They look great. And yes--so many wonderful costume entries! I wish every one could win, they are always so good. <3
