    16. The 2013 St. Louis BJD convention earlier this month was terrific fun! We had a sewing room with 12 machines for sewing workshops. It was so popular that we will bring it back next year. Charie Wilson had a table full of exquisite fashions and was great fun. . She taught two 3 hour sessions about designing and sewing your own fashions for your doll. She knows lots of the doll professionals in Canada and the USA. Aimee of Seed Dolls make a beautiful MSD head for us and did a terrific workshop on face ups. The delightful Silverbeam did a demo on using 3D printing to make dolls.
Our vendors room is small but we had lots of things to buy. Our local doll corner Filled 2 tables with new BJDs from three different companies, two racks of wigs, shoes and clothes and lots of doll furniture. We had additional tables run by our guests, and other vendors. Selling dolls, doll clothes and the marvelous Bast Garden ladies. Sunday's field trip included a surprise shopping trip to Jackman's Fabric (one of our sponsors) and a trip to the butterfly house for marvelous photo ops.
