I'm slightly torn on this project. I started her as a mannequin for early-bustle and natural-form era dresses, with the intent of keeping her body in one piece, and just drilling through the shoulders to give her jointed arms and attaching her head with two hooks (One in the headcap, one in the neck, elastic between) but I'm starting to get a bit more attachne to her now and want to think about turning her into a doll. She's basically a twice-the-size version of my 1:12th girl, who was originally just sketch for how this one would turn out, and then somehow they swapped, and the 1:12th girl became the project and this one was put on the back-burner. I suppose I'll just keep working at her, and see what happens next. Her arms are at roughly the same stage as the rest of her, I just haven't taken a photograph yet, and I've started work on her hands separately. Most of her is in DAS air-drying clay, and I'm going to add details in Milliput as time goes on.
Nice bum are you only jointing her at the shoulders? Maybe if she had detachable arms it would be easier to put clothes on/off.
