1/4 scale glasses

    1. Hello! I'm getting into bjds and the ones I'm looking into are like all 1/4 scale, so I was wondering if there were good shops that carry a lot of stuff for them, especially glasses! Goodness, I have had the hardest time finding glasses. Legenddoll has a few pairs, but not too many options. I was wondering if anyone else was able to find them elsewhere! Especially half-frames!!

I think your best bet might be learning your way around taobao and/or a proxy like superbuy as there's lots of accessories in this size available from (smaller) chinese makers that don't necessarily get picked up by dealers like Legenddoll or Alice's Collections. I've definitely seen some half-frames around!

      Alternatively, if you're into crafting, making a pair of half-frames from jewellery wire is quite easy in that scale! You'll just need to bend the wire in the right places. Here are a couple of pairs I've made like this: example 1; example 2.

    3. THANK YOUUU! omg thats so perfect, I was wondering if jewelry wire would work okay because I do have experience with it and just got a bunch I didnt know what to do with! thank you! I'm trying to recreate the look of an existing character of mine and half frames will complete it!!

    4. I see you're in Indiana? I'm in the USA too and I've ordered some nice eyeglasses from Jamie's BJD prop shop before (Etsy). They do have some half frames. :)

    8. These fit my large headed mature minis beautifully. You could probably get them cheaper elsewhere but if tariffs are a concern then buying from a domestic seller may be worth it.

    10. So was looking at cheaper alternatives and I found that these frames differ from those on sale on various dropshippers so VDC might be your best bet.
