Where can I find T&D resin colors? I can't seem to locate them.

And on that note, does anyone know how their real skin pink looks in person? It is super pink? I'm trying to find it compared to Luts NS. >.<

So, I bit the bullet about a month ago and went ahead and ordered the 65cm girl body in NS-Y. I'm curious—for those that have ordered and received T&D dolls during this pandemic, what was the turnaround times? I'm wondering how long I'll be waiting for this girl bod to arrive? (I'm pretty sure, and relieved, it won't be a Dollshe length wait time )

 

I have been told that the average wait time is about 5-6 months for a body... I really hope to receive my baby earlier than that tho

 

Hi! I'm pretty new to the forum. I ordered QingDi (the half-sleeping version) and almost his entire fullset except for eyes and wig through Clover Singing. I ordered October 15th of last year, and it shipped out February 4th. Thanks to the Lunar New Year, shipping was delayed, but I received the package two days ago. That's about 4 months, even with all the clothes, so hopefully for just a body it'll be even faster!

Hi, has anyone tried to hybrid Telesthesia male body specifically the 68cm?

 

Myt current iteration of Aqqen is a Supia Jacob head on the Telesthesia 68cm body. I would say heads close to that head size with a 10-10.5cm neck circumference should work decently on that body.

As for the resin color—the Supia head is in normal resin, the TSdoll in normal pink. Both are from 2015ish, so they have mellowed with time. Both were a near perfect match when I received them, and have stayed pretty consistent with the match over the years.

Hi! Just ordered Telesthesia's Thalia in white. Hopefully she isn't paper white or else I would need to do a lot of blushing

 

@Lux de Silvia, thelesthesia white is almost perfect white (compared for example to dollzone white), but it has slight pink tone. And it's not as white as dollshe fresh.

Hi, i’m new to this thread and want to know how does telesthesia’s default faceup look like. is it same as the pic? I went through every thread but couldn’t find any suggestions about their default makeup. I’m going to order the Hao(new doll) but not sure if I need to add faceup option… since it takes longer to add faceup, i want to make sure if it’s worth

I don't know if that will help you, but I have a TD doll with a company face-up.
I do think that it looks a little different than on the promotional pictures.
Different, but also much better. At least that's how I feel.

If you compare it to the promo pictures, the details on my BJD are a lot rougher. However, he's still very beautiful, just not exactly the same as the promos!

I have a secondhand T&D Long TianQi on layaway who has the company face up. I find find that he looks loads better in owner than company pics!

does anyone happen to know if telesthesia light tan matches doll family-As tan? i'm planing on buying yun minglin but want to get a DFA body for him so he isn't so EXTREMLY muscular lol

 

I have a Light Tan FeiHuaDeng at home, and a light tan DF-A body on order for another doll. Once that body arrives in a few weeks/months more I can do a comparison

My Long TianQi shipped (ordered Feb-2-2021)! So, I'll definitely post his face up when he gets here. He's an NS version with company face up. I asked for them to give him a face up like a specific promotion that wasn't too complex or anything (Demon Hunter - Mu Yunjun), so it'll be interesting to see what he ends up looking like, haha.

Does anyone know of the current wait times for TD dolls (and where is the best place to order from?)?
Does anyone have a pic of what their tan and light tan resin looks like next to other colours?
Also, is the 72cm body easy to clothe?

I'm very tempted to get their 72cm boy Jiuze (he's so pretty!) in light tan.
I'm also very curious to see more examples of their faceups on actual dolls rather than just in their promo pics (Jiuze's is lovely but I don't know if it'll be better for me to get him blank and find an artist to paint him instead).

I ordered my Dan Taiye from Taobao in February and I'm still waiting for him. I was told that the average wait time for TD is 5-6 months. Hope that it doesn't exceed this time frame though...

Hey guys. Can anyone tell which body does Tiger Hunter - Hao have on the promo photos? Is it a 72 cm body or a 75 cm one? It looks really good but I can't really tell which one it is.

 

I’m pretty sure he is on the 75cm V1 body, the pectoral lines look the same!

 

@Niel His listing on Alice's Collection says 72cm in the title.

 

The website doesn't say which body is used in the promo photos. There are two pages for this doll, one as a 72 cm and another one as a 75 cm doll. That's too unreliable cuz the promos are the same for both body options...

But I've been looking at the photos of their 75 cm body, and it looks so... weird. Very unproportional. Guess I will have to eventually get him on a 72 cm body if I get some spare money first.

 

@Niel Ah, I see the listing for the 75cm one now. In the notes section for that one it says the "Default body is TD 75cm Boy Body Ver.I". So, Izabeth is probably right and it's the 75cm one in the pictures.

 

@Cloudedmind Yeah, but the thing is, TD have 2 versions of the 75 cm body, one is the slender one and another one is very buff. It probably means that the default 75 cm body option is Ver. I, not Ver. II, not that the body on the promos is the 75 cm body and not the 72 cm one. But I might be wrong. Their 68-72-75 Ver. I bodies look almost identical.

@Niel So, I just thought to check TD's Taobao page, and for Hao in the more info section of his listing it says the, "official figure is 75cm body".

@Cloudedmind Ohhh, thank you so much! It's weird, the body looks amazing on the promos for the doll but looks weird on their body comparison photos... So hard to choose!

 

@Niel To bad they don't offer the 74cm body since that's my favorite. Baby got back! But, between the 75 and 72cm bodies I kind of like the 72cm more. It looks a little less boxy to me.

 

So I have this 68cm boy body in NS, but I'm looking for a suitable head. I was initially going to use a Supiadoll head, but it didn't quite work out as I had planned. Does anyone have any good ideas for resin matches from other companies?

 

My Dan Taiye has been shipped! However, the box hasn't been checked by my intermediary so I'm a bit worried that there's gonna be something wrong with my order

 

I received my DF-A body in light tan this past week, so I was able to do a quick resin comparison for you between that and TD light tan.

First in regular daylight:


And second with flash:


DF-A light tan is a bit lighter than TD's light tan, and the TD resin is a little more translucent than the DF-A one. I sadly do not have a DF-A tan sample, but I suspect it might be a little bit darker than the TD light tan.
I think either would be a good option, the DF-A light tan body could have the neck and hands blushed to match the TD light tan, or the TD head in light tan could be blushed darker to match the DF-A tan.

Apologies for the double post, but now that I got that resin comparison out of the way, I want to share my newest boy Drow, my secondhand Long Tianqi on the 72cm body!


I repainted him, of course, because that's how I bond with my dolls. He has such a nice face. He's in an old normal pink skin, back from 2019, which is a bit more yellow toned than more recent nps dolls from TD.
Posing him has been a treat, though his jointed hands were a mess to pose until I wired them, now they behave. With his boots on he measures in at 73.5cm in height.

He lives up to his namesake, he already stole a wig intended for another doll, so I had to order a new one for the other one. His smile definitely drew me in, and the eyes I designed and made myself with acrylic bases!

 

So, I ended up parting ways with my WeiYueJin; but not because of lack of beauty.
He was super gorgeous, but I was more tempted by an in-stock head that Alice's Collection had. So...I'll hopefully be able to rejoin the group soon with Dan Taiye soon!

 

Here is my NS Long Tianqi, Vale. I ordered him on Feb. 2, 2021 and got him end of July through Alice's Collections. Not the greatest picture. I'll try to get better ones eventually! He has the dragon hands, but he's currently wearing ringdoll NS werewolf hands (they look better in person honestly but a bit lighter on camera).

 

He’s stunning! I wish mine had come with his horns, but the previous owner had sold them already. Oh well, I ordered him some other ones from Etsy, which did ship already.

 

I wasn't expecting the clear/red ones (honestly, I didn't realize there was any pigment in the clear horns I'd seen prior) -- I ordered just normal ones so I figured they'd come in NS resin, but honestly they're really cool and will still work for what I was planning. I'm going to do an ombre in dark brown/black/red on his hands and tips of the horns, so I think it'll look great with the clear resin.

My Dan Taiye is finally home. Too lazy to do an unboxing thread so I'll just share a pic here. It's my first doll from China and although I'm impressed by how beautiful it is, I don't appreciate the material. In the first 10 minutes of handling the doll, trying to pose him and putting on some clothes he got tiny scratches on all of his joints as well as in places I never espected to be scratched in the process. It bothers me so much even though he is so pretty! Is it a common thing with environmental resin or whatever TD make their dolls of? Am I panicking over nothing?

 

He’s very handsome! I noticed that too with both my newer girls from 2019 and 2020, they have a bunch of little scratch and resin dust marks in the joints since arrival. Both are in tan though. My secondhand boy in normal skin from 2019 does not have that issue, his joints are clean. I know they changed resins in 2020, which is how I ended up with FeiHuaDeng twins in different tans.
