@LunaFancy someone recently sold a legit Albert on FB, original sale here: BJD Adoption you may need to join the group to see, and it wasn't many photos, but he seems to have a very nice sculpt.

He looks lovely in the sales pics but it's weird that there are no pics of him anywhere else.

 

I know I already asked, but anyway... Does any of you have a comparison of TD normal yellow and Dollzone white? I wonder if there's a chance it would match.

 

After a really really really stressful weekend, a fat wallet (that is now lighter), and a not restful vacation, I caved and bought a TD Louis.Windsor secondhand as a reward to myself.

She was a great deal, though I was quite surprised to find her nipples had been sanded off (badly). But I evened out that mod, and restrung her (she couldn't even sit!) so now she can sit and stand solid. I still need to redo her face up, but that'll come eventually. Willow, my second TD FeiHuaDeng, still needs a face up too, but I have no clue how to paint her either.


I'm still debating between naming her Irene or Yvonne, but I am leaning to Yvonne.
At least this wig finally has a home, I've had it almost 3 years in a drawer, and no doll that was willing to wear it. Plopped it on her, and insta-accept!

And the purple wig looks perfect on her! (Funny how that works out sometimes.)

Sorry you had such a stressful weekend. But, new dollies definitely take the sting out of a bad experience.

 

Thank you! She is really cute, and poses nicely now that I replaced her elastic. She was strung with 2 loops, as we are used to, but one loop went from the head, to an arm, and then to the opposite leg, and the other loop was the same but the other side. Mort, my Dragondoll Cheng, was strung like that too when I received him in 2011!

 

Beautiful!! I bought Bamboo head via taobao 3 months ago and it's actualy on the way. As they are on sale, I'm thinking of buying his body.

@dragoneye1300 I have WeiYueJin open eye ver. on order, but he might not be here until Christmas! However, once he's here, I'll gladly take photos. I ordered him blank, along with the closed eye ver. head, as I intend to commission him with a silver/gray makeup palette vs. company art.

And, here's QingDi. Not much, but some!

I do not have any of those sculpts so I sadly cannot help with that.

But I finally got around to painting my Louis.Windsor, who settled on the name Yvonne, and my second FeiHuaDeng named Willow got a face up too.

Willow is in the light tan, all I can compare her too is last years tan when they only had one. I really need to get a picture of Elyra and Willow together, as they have decided they are not related despite being the same sculpt.

I'm looking to purchase the 65cm female body to hybrid an Iplehouse head onto, and I'm curious about TD's resin colors. I have a 68cm boy body from early 2016 in normal pink, and I'm hoping to get something closer to a mellowed Iple white skin from 2010. Would it be best to just take the dive and order TD's white, or has either NS pink or yellow lightened in shades since 2016?

 

TD's white is paper white (makes dollzone white looks yellow), so unless you plan to blush it, it's hardly probable it will match to any less white color.

 

Ah, I see. Thanks for the response. Do you by chance know how much darker their current normal resins are in comparison to their white? If worse comes to worse, I can just order the white resin and give it a dye dip to get a closer match.

 

I'm sorry, I own only a white head, so I have no comparison. I'd be curious to see the difference myself.

 

I'm curious about TD's Dark Tan - I can't find any pictures of it, does anyone have some to share?

For those wondering - he's on Ringdoll RGMBody-4. Weiyuejin is white skin and the body is normal skin. Resin match is pretty decent when you don't look too closely

@Quinn.nnp from between his head magnets, through his nose down to the chin it's 11cm. 10.3cm when measured next to his nose. Do you want me to measure him in any other way?

 

Willow is a butt and decided to be a fox after all. Now I gotta get her a black fox tail to magnetize like I did for Elyra.... guess they are twins after all?

 

IzabethS, LOL! Sometimes it works out that way with dolls; they have a mind of their own. Whatever the case, Willow certainly turned out beautiful. Your girls look great together!

Can someone tell me what clothes and shoes fit the female body? I’m planning on buying some clothes for my incoming doll and I have no idea what will fit her.

Hey TD owners, I'm thinking of getting TD Jin but the thing that really turns me off is the body, the nipples seems more pointy/apparent compare to other brand's body. My concern is that if He wears a tshirt or a tight shirt those nipples are gonna show. Can anyone share their experiences? Thanks!

 

@reflair I can't exactly answer your question, but if the nipples bother you they can always just be sanded down.

 

I can definitely confirm this. I got the 72cm body and the nipps are very apparent underneath tight-fitting tops. I personally like the body a lot and since my boy is the sexy type it fits him well xD But if you're really bothered by that, you'd probably have to find a way around it if you were to go for that body. Hope that helps a little ^-^

I'm stuck right now and I need your help, please.

- Does the Telethesia company face-up look exactly like on the promotion pictures?
Does anyone have experience with it?

- Does anyone know if 'Di Jun Beast Ver.' is or was only offered as a sculpt (without wig, outfit, ... etc.)?

 

Anyone know where I can find patterns that will fit the 60cm girl body? Or what clothes will fit them? I'm trying to learn to sew and having patterns that should work would be amazing.

 

I, sadly, can't remember what options he was available with when my sister ordered hers, but I'd suggest contacting a dealer and asking if it's possible to get him with the options you were possibly wanting. She was able to get him on the ver. II 75cm body, which he's not regularly offered on, so that's a possibility (if you want him that giant lol). She went through Clover Singing, who currently has him for less than Alice's right now (plus you can get a free wig with doll orders). Christina is also very quick to reply and really nice.

I have the standard 60cm girl body, and she wears pretty much standard SD clothing quite well. I can try some different things on her if you like? Her head is OT for this thread though

 

I guess...i really just want to know if sd 13 or the ipplehouse yid stuff will work on her? I can find some patterns for those sizes.or what should i look up to get standard sd size stuff?

 

I'm going to be ordering a TD Long Tianqi soon. I'm just trying to figure out if T&D does any kind of customization with their face ups. I'm really wanting the demon hunter mu yunjun face up, if possible (if not, I'll probably get him blank). Has anyone had any experience with face up customization from the company itself? I'm going to ask the people at Alice's Collections, but wasn't sure if anyone had any experience with that here.

 

By the way, I asked Alice's Collections and they told me I could request a different faceup for a different doll, so hopefully it works out once I order him (obviously the faceup might not be exactly the same, but I wanted something closer to the Mu Yunjun promo than the Long Tianqi promo).

I ordered Vale, my Telesthesia Long Tianqi, today and asked for a faceup like the Mu Yunjun promo -- we'll see how he turns out, but I'm excited!

 

Sorry for the long silence. But SD13 stuff fits her pretty well. I have no idea about Iplehouse YID stuff on the body though.

 

No worries! I just made an over size sweater for sd13 and it fit pretty well so i think itll be ok. Ill see if i can find a more fitted pattetn for sd13 and see if it works.

I'm glad you were able to find something to make! My hybrid girl is in a random SD13 dress, which fits her very well.

I finally got out my old old Dragondoll Cheng, and upgraded him onto a different company body that is much much taller! Since his white skin has gotten quite buttery over the last 12 years, I color matched and repainted him. I am so pleased!

Hello everybody, I recently I fell in love w/the 72cm TD Dan Taiye sculpt and I feel like he would look amazing on a Ringdoll or Loongsoul body. So does anybody know if any of TD resin colors match either company? Any help is appreciated Thanks!

 

I have TD pink and Ringdoll wheat. Resin match is near perfect. Ringdoll is slightly more saturated, is a little bit darker. I think, such hybrid will work perfectly.

Hi, I'm looking for a tall body for my LLT Neil head, and while browsing Alice Collection's website I noticed that Telesthesia has a 75cm muscle body with an interesting design.
How does Telesthesia normal yellow look like? I'm very curious because LLT is similar to Dollshe Oriental but I do not want to wait eons for just a body.
Pictures would be really appreciated! Any recently made doll will do!

My doll came today! I posted her box opening in the box opening gallery. she is really pretty and unfortunately I dont have any clothes or wigs for her at the moment because I just moved to Japan. I still dont know what clothes fit her but I might guess that maybe IH EID or SID women clothes might fit her?
