I think they picked it as somehow related to the Spanish city in one of the first "model agency" stories; I am sure Ikaru would know!
I would love to see more of Michael's head (though that could be a bad idea)

 

Reminds me of the online game Granado Espada. The outfits are fantastical and the artwork is really nice...

Michael reminds me of someone but I can't remember.

 

The heads on the evol bodies have been pretty small (my Neptune can wear some 7/8" wigs)... I'd think they'd work on a slimmer body that's around 68cm... But new head-sculpts are always welcome!

Oh... I should have googled better (although Granado might have chosen the name for different reasons/meanings... maybe that game? who knows?):

@april - it's not the proportions that bother me. it's the neck hole size. I asked Granado if Mars would fit on the Lads body, and they replied
that it's too big at the neck and there'd be a gap. I appreciated the honesty. but he keeps making heads with big neck holes for the Evol.
if Michael fits Evol, then the two bods are probably similar in size with the new one being slimmer. guess we'll see soon!

 

Oh, OK. Yes, the large neck hole would be bad. But Granado has adjusted neck holes on older heads to fit Evol bodies, so I figured they might be able to make Evol heads with a neck size to fit the new bodies--if they have a smaller neck size. That would be great, I think!

 

Michael looks intriguing! I'll eagerly await more details.

 

According to Granado's Facebook the name Granado means "excellence" in Spanish and he likes Spanish passion so chose the name.

Micheal looks very angelic and tempting. I really hope I love the Embody body when it is revealed.

Thanks, @Therealwalter . I glanced at the FB page but couldn't find that info. Hmmm... I wonder if Excellence can be worked into their shop name? On the FB page, Granado has been polling for names and suggestions...

Oh, hey-- it was in response to my FB post that they said Granado means Excellence!

 

I asked them on Flikr what Granado meant, and they answered there too. I guess we kind of caught their attention! lol
Michael may have too much of a smile for me, and I'll go back to pining for Enoch. ^_^

 

I DO hope they release Enoch again!!! I'll probably start poking Granado after they release more on the new body... (oh, wait--no, I really don't want another doll, dang-it!)

hmm....I've been looking at that pic on facebook but I can't tell if it is higher or shorter than the Evol. I do wish that he would make a 68cm version so people who need that size can also enjoy beefy males.

 

MinWoo found a fan at the local meet yesterday who wanted a photo with him. He couldn't say 'no' to that face.

It looks pretty good even with the gap in the back (Which would be hidden by a wig.) The styling of the head and body look compatible.

I ended up getting AlisonVonderland's Gabe.. I thought he'd be something different but apparently he's a merman--probably because of my enthusiasm for @Snowy's Virgil-in-a-tail. (I bet Virgil has turned in his badge and bought a speargun instead by now. Also that Nihlus has stolen his bike).

Thank you , JoonKi looks so different from MinWoo that I thought I'd messed up but he definitely has the look of a Korean flower boy (at least the TV drama kind).

Actually Virgil is kinda pissed at me and Nihlus is enjoying his time in the tail XD The bike has temporary been taken hostage by my male cat XD I think he rather adores it and even slept spread out alongside it the other day.

@fishcake XD My dad 'borrowed' it as well. Repaired the brocken controls and battery-connection thing and than had the time of his live as it litterally ROARED to live and made those tuckering sounds and even honked, while he made it do circles! The Harley is as such very well loved XD Which remind me that I still need to add that safety-glass with POLICE written on it :3

I like the teaser shot they have of Michael's hand on the piano. Perfect use of that hand in that shape!
