☆~~ Granado Doll Discussion Part 13 ~~☆

Aww, sorry it was smaller than usual, but if you had fun that is what matters! And there is always next year!

 

Iwan got some new uh...toys in the mail a couple of days ago. He's rather happy with his haul of poisons, acids, and medicines. The surgical tools and anatomy posters were quite nice too.

Where did you find the props? I've been looking for something like that myself.

 

Given that one of the little bottles is labelled 'chloroform' I am just a tad worried now. XD
I got them all from BJD jewelry and props by AtriumHoshino really lovely quality too. And very well packed!

 

Wow, @Quiet and Insane those are amazing little props! Iwan must be in heaven (or some equivalent )

 

@Quiet and Insane that is a very alarming photo! Who knows what he'll think to do with all those little goodies!

 

I didn't know they had surgical tools!! (we can't let Hawley see those....)

 

@fishcake - I believe Iwan refers to that as his laboratory.

@Alewife - Certainly not perform experiments on the other dolls while I'm at work. Or me while I'm asleep. I hope.

@Girrl - Hahaha, I think Hawley and Iwan would get along quite well.

 

Hawley and Iwan would sit around comparing notes and considering new projects. @Quiet and Insane you may wake up to find one of your other dolls disassembled

 

Love the goodies Iwan has at his disposal. I hear the phrase 'be afraid be very afraid.' whispered softly.

I finished my V-01s faceups and have begun to look for their look but I think they are taking over just like my KangUk twins did. Though these two look very different from each other. I need to get a photo of them together but my new kitty is making getting outside very hard with just one doll, and inside photos are too dark.

I'm loving JoonKi. Isn't it fun how different the same sculpt can be? I could be quite happy with a gaggle of V-01 guys around.

@Quiet and Insane Oh, that is the perfect set for Iwan! Better keep the matches or flame-throwers away from him...

How about Resin Rock? Or Rockin' Resin? Do you have microphones for them? Guitars? I'm itching to see these guys perform!

 

I have two microphone looking flashlights but I will probably get more. I have two Fender guitars and a drumset but they might just be a singing group. I was going to attempt to make a keyboard, so I'm not sure yet. I had a band named 'Disjointed Confusion' but most of the members are no longer with me.
You will probably see them before they get their act/look together as I am trying to do three things at one time. I just spent the day rearranging my work area to make it as cat proof as possible. UGH! But if he is out there then maybe I can get a full night's sleep.

 

While my boy's head is overseas, I bought him a chair. Because he'll need a throne to sit on when he's complete. I think it might be just a tad too big for him though...

 

Hmm... the chair DOES look throne-like! Maybe big if it were meant to be a normal chair... but the arm and seat height look right!

 

I don't think so, thrones need to be impressive! That is a cool chair!

 

I'm so in love with this chair it's ridiculous. XD The wood's real mahogany, plus the detailing and finish is amazing! I think @Darkling might have another one for sale that's got cream white cushions, so if anyone's been thinking about a throne for their large guy or gal, I totally recommend this chair!

Plus it's really supposed to be for him and his best friend/partner/it's complicated. Two 70 cm boys look even better than one on it. XD

 

I'm with fishcake, thrones are meant to be big and impressive. I love how relaxed he already looks in it! lol

 

Ahhh, it's so cool to see that your boy loves this armchair @sno4wy I sold the other armchair aswell and the buyer is happy too. I have way too much furniture like this at home.

I think a chair/throne like this needs to be impressive, just right for beefy guys!

 

Finally took some pictures of Neptune (Duke) and his pal, wearing one of his new shirts by aernath. I actually live near the beach, but I'm not anxious to get sand all over my dolls, so yay for photo backdrops!

@sno4wy what an awesome chair! You may like the scale better once he has a head, wig, clothes etc, but I think it looks great now.

@april I love your Duke. He has such a sweet expression!

And there are a number of beach bums Duke would love to hang out with, here! He and Austin should road-trip and visit aernath's boys. They are always looking cool and tropical wearing those shirts and shorts!

I got the pua shells from Michael's... I was totally haunting there for beads in the right scale, but this guy is the first guy who would wear anything like that. I almost just made a necklace for myself out of them, they've been sitting around for so long...

Doggie is Iplehouse's Boston Terrier, named Bingo (or sometimes, Dude or The Dude).

I have! It looks very sexy, but I'm betting it's 1/4, since Fashion Dolls seem to be all the craze now...

 

Pretty sure it's the 68cm Crocus has been working on...I can feel money escaping my wallet soon.

 

I doubt it's a 1/4. Right now Terra is in 1/4 and he does not seem to be very popular. I don't think Crocus would spend his time sculpting another one that size. I'm also thinking he'll be around the 68/70cm size since that is what the most of us have been asking for since they discontinued the other bodies.

 

@fishcake - Tight stringing? Well...there goes the RingDoll guy...

@aernath - Oh he won't need scissors, he has two bone saws.

@april - My exhausted brain thought Duke was a real human for a second there. Damn he's good looking.

really hoping the new body is 66-68 with new heads made for it. don't want bobble heads from Evol.
but, c'mon, Crocus, teasing isn't nice. give us some data. (although thank you for the nice view)
it's probably same neck size as Evol, very tall, just more slender. good for my wallet.

 

@april - I remember doing a search for Granado and some other word in the past and found something that said that it means "saffron flower", maybe in Japanese? I've really got no idea though, as I don't speak Japanese. x_x

@aernath - It looks like they don't have limited ordering periods for their guys on their Taobao site, so while it'd be a hassle, theoretically that should mean that you can get him whenever you want... XD
