BJD collecting has changed. It's no longer about wigs, eyes or faceups. It's an endless series of wank debates, fought by collectors and companies. BJD collecting, and its consumption of money, has become a well-oiled machine. BJD collecting has changed. Immature collectors carry cheap quality dolls, use crappy fiber wigs and awful acrylic eyes. Limiteds released by companies drain and regulate their wallets. Gallery control. Debate control. Discussion control. Marketplace control. Everything is monitored, and kept under control. BJD collecting has changed. The age of new collectors has become the age of wank. All in the name of averting catastrophe from perceived elitists. And he who controls the gallery, controls the marketplace. BJD collecting has changed. When DoA is under total control, wankfests... become routine.
I'm no BJD collector. Never was, never will be. I'm just an old fat otaku, looking to buy more plastic.
