I’m Yaki, 30, they/them.

I’ve admired BJD from afar since middle school, obsessing over Dream of Doll Camine and Ducan in a time where I could never fathom having enough money to ever own my own.

I’ve been a doll and figure collector since 2009, starting with Pinky St and Nendoroid. I primarily collect vinyl/plastic figures, toys, and dolls. I also have a collection of fashion dolls, mostly G1 Monster High.

I own 2 resin BJD, 1 dollfie dream (custom Miku), 4 custom Obitsu and 6 Pullip & Co. dolls. I also have a handful of mini BJD and countless static and action figured. I collect Monster High G1 and G3, enamel pins, and Promare merchandise.

I’ve always been a fan of art and character design. My main draw to dolls is the unique form of self expression through character creation that it provides. From aesthetic to background, I just love every aspect of character work. I'm also obsessed with the engineering of dolls and toys. Designing my own custom BJD of my OCs would be a major life goal achieved for me.

I’m particularly drawn to dolls with unique sculpts, styles, and colors, especially fantasy ❤︎ My favorite sculpters include Studio Bitamin, Bonelace, and Enaibi
