I'm a student at MSU finishing my second degree. My first was in Anthropology with a concentration in Historical Archaeology.
I'm currently working on my BFA in in jewelry/metalsmithing.
I'm a semi-professional seamstress and have been sewing for about 20 years now (I learned when I was reasonably young). I enjoy making reproduction Victorian garments for myself, with extreme and almost fanatical accuracy, though doll clothes really are a passion of mine. There's something really wonderful about minute detail that is a lot of fun thinking about and approaching on a miniature scale. It's a challenge for me and the closer I can get a piece to looking like a real garment for real people, the happier I am.
