I'm a PhD student and expat living abroad in the UK; I first found BJDs around the time of Volks Jun Tachibana / Isa0 Nanjou's release through an artist I was following on DeviantArt.
I fell head-over-heels in love with Volks' different faces and bodies, with a deep softspot for SD13 limited SWD Lucas and the Volks/Gentaro Araki collaboration Unoss Aika.
I was *finally* able to buy my first BJD in 2013 (no longer with me ; __ ; ). Since then, my collection has had many sizes, companies, and molds among its ranks, but Volks has continued to have my heart.
My softest of spots in my current collection is my Volks Amakusa, Haru, who was a gift from my husband for christmas the first christmas we were married (and I *never* thought I would be married to someone who would be okay with my dolls, let alone help me buy one ; __ ; ).Interact
