I have begun to learn the impossible task of faceups I have tried on Chloe 6 times and had to remove Sylvia's faceup, a tip I have picked up use a bunch of water on a q-tip to remove eyelashes to prevent chips in original faceup I learned the hard way, I am in process of 6th attempt of Sylvia's faceup and it's true you get better with practice. I have also begun making uv resin eyes and I'm planning on sewing soon so I have picked up several "hobbies" the more dolls I aquire. I also like to learn as much as I can about everything bjd and have even researched making my own bjd but that will be way in the future I'm learning that alpaca fiber is a pain and that laying down a perfect base can make or destroy a faceup I've also gotten my 12 yr old granddaughter into bjd's and am in the process of teaching her the basics, she was already modding dolls before I knew it and this gave us something to bond over I should mention that I didn't meet her until she was 11 long story there but I was thrilled when I learned that she had been making clothes and characters for her basic dolls.
