I didn't play with dolls as a child, except for a couple ragdolls I made myself. As an adult, I collected "cultural" dolls in each country we lived in (world travel thanks to the US military!), but didn't play with 'em. When we lived in Japan, I got into Volks garage kits. Fast forward twenty years, and two artist friends purchased Dollfies. I resisted for a year, and then finally bought my first doll. This hobby fits in PERFECTLY with my other hobbies: painting and making costumes.
