AMAZING LUCK how i met my doll today
Hello I am new to den of angels! I have always wanted a doll but could not figure out the best one for me and a price that worked until today! I was on a trip with some friends in Wisconsin (im from chicago) and we randomly went into an antique shop. They had all kinds of toys and stuff and while browsing I noticed a room off toward the side. I went inside and thats when I saw him! An El Luts doll with 4 wigs, 3 outfits, boots, eyes, box, the most perfect match for me!
BUT the price was not. $640 dollars, technically an ok price considering the high quality stuff he came with but I dont watch Pawn Shop and American Pickers for nothing! I asked the lady If I could review the doll and I pointed out some things some buyers wouldn't like, the shoes we the wrong size his stringing was loose, the eyes were mismatched colors, he didnt come with a ball cap, but all these things I didnt care about because I loved him.
I asked the lady if she knew what it was and she didnt but people rented out space in the shop for things they wanted to sell. I offered her 300 and she said she would call the seller and asked. After waiting she said the seller didnt like it and countered me with 375 so i countered again with 350 as my final offer since i have already been there and hour and said i would be leaving back home to Chicago soon. Then after a little more waiting they agreed and I got my doll for a STEAL! (373 with tax)
Its like I got the doll for a great deal with a ton of great free stuff!!!
Im going to post a video soon showing him to you and to ask questions about things I dont know how to do on the doll.
Im very very happy to join the world of ball jointed doll owners and i couldnt have found a more perfect doll for me.
I welcome Miku to my life and give all my love!
