I'm into dolls since childhood but into BJDs when I discovered Dream of Doll, Dollzone & Volks companies near a decade ago. My first crushes were DOD Duncan and Dollzone Kmi (which I'm in hope to find a head someday) but I really fell hard when I met Alchemic Labo's Unoa dolls.
I don't buy my dolls by impulse, since I can't afford to buy many a year I buy the ones I've the most liking and I try to find the rare ones trough DOA's Marketplace that has been pretty helpful in that regard.
What I like the about the hobby is customizing them myself, making wigs, face-ups, clothing, etc. When I've the time I like to dedicate it to that =)
This is actually my second hobby, my first hobby and job is as illustrator and I worked many years doing art for games and now I'm working as a freelance artist. I'm working hard to launch my own comics and other projects.
I've plans of making my own dolls since I found out of this hobby and ever since I've been designing various doll projects that I would hopefully be able to create soon. I really like sculpting, it's something I've been doing on and off not professionally but I do love it and expect to learn more in all arts.
