Hello there! My name is Taylor, and I currently reside in Arizona, along with my husband and baby boy.
I began customising and repainting dolls when I was thirteen, and discovered ball jointed dolls around that time. I was captivated, I thought they were gorgeous. But at the age of thirteen, I thought it would probably take my whole life to save up for one. So I wrote them off as unattainable, and admired photos from a distance.
Life got pretty crazy, and I stopped repainting dolls for a while, and BJDs were forgotten. Then, several years later Monster High Dolls came out, and I was inspired to try my hand at repainting again. I realized how much I loved and had missed customising dolls. It was shortly after that I rediscovered ball jointed dolls, and found a local group of collectors. There, I was able to see these dolls in person for the first time and I was mesmerised!
I am currently saving up for my first BJD. To pass the time, I enjoy browsing these forums, doll company websites, and practicing my faceup skills.
