I saw a post on a Facebook group from @KandyDoll who gave some AWESOME advice! You are a genius, KandyDoll. Read below on how to stay safe during a trade.
Step 1: Person A invoices Person B for the full amount of the doll.
Step 2: Person B pays the invoice.
Step 3: Person B invoices Person A for the exact amount on the initial invoice.
Step 4: Person A pays the invoice.
Congratulations! Now both of you are protected through PayPal! If either Person A or Person B fails to send their half of the trade, you can file a claim through PayPal and get the money for the invoice value. Sure, you both will have to pay PayPal fees, but I believe in the motto "better safe than sorry."
ALWAYS get tracking numbers and insurance. Hell, get a signature confirmation too for a few extra bucks. This way someone has to physically sign for the package to receive it, which helps prevent package thieves.
