I’m blackcat (not my real name of course
)
I started collecting dolls (not for play) at age 10, starting with monster high and ever after high dolls. While browsing deviantart, I was introduced to Pullips and was hooked.
A year later, I encountered my first BJD (minifee Chloe) and fell in love with resin dolls. I got my minifee at 14. In the next few months, I practiced face ups and customization, getting much better at them!
My interest, however, halted when I made a few bad doll purchases which left me completely disheartened and I left the hobby for 4-5 years
.
I then came back to Pullips for a few of years and now I’m officially back to BJDs again as a college student and an adult (with a more mature mindset and understanding of the hobby).
I hope that my love for BJDs continues this time and for all of us to have fun here!
