Loooooooooooooong time lurker (somewhere between 10-15 years, I stopped counting) in the hobby but never part of the hobby until my first doll purchase in 2016! I love the amazing amount of variety and taste this hobby brings about. You have so many different people with different aesthetics, wants, aspects they enjoy in the hobby, places they live...it's just something special. I'm excited to finally be more than just a lurker.

I am personally a huge fan of dolls based on real people but then taken and made into their own character instead. But I just love browsing doll profiles and seeing all the special stories and inspirations behind everyone's ideas. From writers, to character creators, to sewers, to fashion designers, to wardrobe stylists, to artists, to sculptors, to photographers, to roleplayers..there's so many amazing people in this hobby and it's so rare you can see such diversity in such a concentrated and specific hobby. I love seeing what everyone does and what everyone brings to the table.
