I never played with dolls as a child- it was the bright colors and cool shapes of My Little Pony that rocked my world. In comparision, Barbie looked like a fish stick. (Except for 80s Midge, who had curly red hair, freckles, and rollerskates, all 3 of which I very much wished I had.)
Then I met the Monster High dolls, and everything changed. Suddenly my eyes were opened to what a doll could be, and overnight I became a lady who plays with dolls. And because I am a grown up lady, I can get awesome high quality dollies and make fabulous clothing for them. Hurray!!
