I watched the BJD hobby from afar for years, but knew I had to finally join in after seeing the first pictures of Dahlia in 2009. She reminded me of Japanese "art dolls" like those by Koitsukihime, whose photobooks I collect (among other artists in similar style to Doll Space Pygmalion).
I love the the creativity and effort that the members of the community put into the hobby! My favorite part is looking at the faceups and styling people have designed for their dolls.Interact
