Abandoned to die as a child, Valdrin was raised by blind wise-woman who lived deep in the woods. He is a huntsman, an herballist, a healer. He was forced to be a poisoner by the local lord who threatened the wise-woman and Valdrin's other friends. He is aware of his drow heritage, but has had minimal interaction with them. Most everyone that he encounters hate him on sight.
