    Date of acquisition:
    May 2021
    Provenance:
Bought secondhand from Ebay seller with original box and paperwork/CoA.
    Reason for choice:
I loved the idea of a tiny Obitsu 11 sized bjd that I could carry around everywhere and easily find outfits for. The winsome faceup and included wig sold me on this particular doll.
    Best Points:
Single jointed torso for a doll of this size does not hinder posing. It's not impossible to find wigs or eyes because the eyes and head are not too small. The age of the doll is supposed to be very young, so the head is still reasonably proportional to the body.
    Worst Points:
Standing would be easier if the ankle mobility were more static. At the expense of foot posing capabilities the doll's ability to stand is reduced.
  • Eyes:
    Blue Glass Eyes (unknown maker)
    Wig:
light blonde alpaca wig (unknown maker)
    Favourite colours:
    eggplant, grass green, lake blue
    Fashion style(s):
    handmade assemblage
    Key fashion accessory:
    a tiny knit blanket
  • Name story:
Thimble is tiny, like an actual thimble. They're also useful like one, often slipping into small spaces to retrieve lost items for other members of the household.
    Character age:
6 months old but not getting any bigger
    Character gender:
    none yet, hasn't decided
    Offsite roleplay:
This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
Thimble is very young for a gnome. They have a lot to learn about the world, and the other creatures of the house are slowly teaching them about the world. So far, they've learned to vanish from view when necessary and distinguish edible mushrooms from the poisonous ones. Because mushrooms are such a key part of a gnome's diet, they are excited to use that skill to find some snacks on a stroll through the nearby forest.
