Sweet Neva is a Weaver, a tribe of all female spiders with powers that allow them to weave and create spells from their soul and silk. Typically, Weavers cannot reproduce on their own, but Sweet Neva is a child mysteriously born of a Weaver mother. It's a secret how this was managed....She is quiet, curious, and shy, and being fragile, she cannot roam far from the Weavenest. She relies on Thorn quite a bit to understand the world outside her own.
