As soon as I came up with the name, I thought, “Shoot! Now I have to have him!” XD

He’s cute and adorable, and easy to carry around, my favorite kind. (The little bed he came with makes for a great carrying case to take him from one room to the next.)

Name story:

I am sometimes torn between giving my characters serious names or silly/stupid ones. Stupid won out this time.

Named after Sir Gideon Ofnir, the All – Knowing, from Elden Ring. Gideon’s character from Elden Ring has inspired me quite a bit (much to my surprise), but I also think he deserves to be made fun of. He’s quite a jerk….

Also goes by the nickname Giddy.

Don’t be alarmed by his title, he is no threat to any living creature. But immobile food? He’s all over that.

Turn your back for one second? Walk away from your plate without putting it up because you’re going to be right back? Turn your head for a moment because you hear a sound? That’s when Gideon moves with a speed you’ve never seen, and probably didn’t know he even possessed. Before you even realize what’s going on, he’s at your plate, happily slurping it up and hoping for more.
