Name story:

I wanted to give her a unique name that reflects her African American heritage, I found the name Sikudhani on a list of Swahili names for girls and it was perfect.

Sikudhani means “unexpected gift” because although she was the result of an unplanned pregnancy her mother does not see her as an accident but a gift.
