The name Sigrid is very much inspired by her species, Sigbin/Sigbinan, a witch from Pinoy mythology who turns herself into a monstrous goat/wolf-like creature that travels in shadows and eat the blood of children. Her last name is the name of my Lola (grandmother) on my mom's side. :)
