Rei comes from a family of witches on his mother’s side. He has strong magic, but has spent most of his life ignoring that it exists. Instead, he went on to have a pretty normal life and would have stayed that way had he not been called home one day. His family had come under a strong curse and they needed all the help they could get. This was not the first time Rei used his magic, but it would be the incident that properly opened his eyes to this world that he had been pulled back into. After this incident, Rei realised that it was his calling to nurture his power and that is how he has been living his life ever since.

He decided to move into the HEREAFTER after encouragement from Diana to be amongst others in the supernatural world and to learn about this whole part of himself that he had been neglecting.
