Rakujitsu is an half Oni from a different family than Fubuki's. She was abandoned as a baby by her mother's spouse, because he was quite unhappy with her red hair and her horns (he and his wife were humans). She has been raised like an pure Oni by her father Nishibi, along with her brother Akebono (also half human, but from a different mother).
She's less strong but smarter and less cruel than pure Oni. Due to her story, she doesn't like a lot humans, but doesn't hate them as much as Mijikayo does.

Fubuki's son Yamaji woos her.
She is Nametsukusu's mother.
