Reason for choice:

I wanted a similar sculpt to the Dearmine Ares that I had already shelled Mametaro's older brother in to. The Wolffy Romance edition head had a similar eye shape to the Ares, so they ended up looking fairly similar while maintaining enough of a difference to be two distinct individuals. Brothers, not twins, as they say.

Best Points:

Adorable! I absolutely adore his cute little paw hands and his chubby little baby body. He is a precious little bean.

Worst Points:

My poor guy cannot stand very well. His head is massively heavy compared to his stubby little limbs, which means he has a tendency to fall over (something else he has in common with the Dearmine Ares).

Name story:

Mametaro roughly translates to big bean boy. He was named for his adorable toe beans.

The youngest son of Oogami Murasaki and younger brother to Oogami Ryosuke. He is somewhat quiet but very friendly and perhaps a bit too curious.
Oogami Murasaki, previously Ookami no Murasaki, fled her homeland of Japan following the fall of her house during the tumultuous Muromachi Period at the hands of Ashikaga Takauji. Her first son, Ryosuke, was a small child at the time, and her second son, Mametaro, would not be borne until many years after. By the time Mametaro was borne, Murasaki had already assumed the surname of Oogami.
