Name story:

Nyx is a female name of Greek origin, meaning "Night". In Greek mythology, Nyx is the goddess and personification of the night, often depicted as a black-robed figure driving a chariot through the sky. She is the offspring of Chaos and the mother of Aether and Hemera by Erebus, as well as the progenitor of various abstract personifications. Nyx is associated with oracles and holds a significant role in several cosmogonies. In ancient Greek and Roman art, depictions of Nyx often show her driving a chariot or as a winged figure, and she is sometimes difficult to distinguish from other celestial deities. While Nyx had little cultic importance, there are references to oracles and sacrifices associated with her.
