Reason for choice:

It took me a really long time to get around to buying it. Something always got into it and I had to postpone it indefinitely every time. However, when its production was to end, it was a clear choice for me to finally buy it.

Sources cite Mi-reu as possibly being borrowed from Old Chinese and list Mi-reu as being an obsolete Korean word for dragon. However, those same sources also say mi-reu can be of native Korean origin, meaning water, river.
