While most zephyrs consider themselves beings of elemental Air no matter which part of the sprawling Celestial Bureaucracy they may be assigned to, Meru has served as the Herald of the Water court of the Boundless West for so long that the drier realms of the sky now seem odd and entirely unfamiliar. Meru has even forgotten how to fly. Any other zephyr might find that kind of fundamental disconnect deeply disturbing. Meru simply shrugs and claims to be too busy to bother with existential angst.
