It took me a while to name him, but I eventually picked Malachi from a list of names I'd made years ago that I liked for doll names.

Malachi is the spoiled child of nobility, raised more by servants than his actual parents. He comes from a long line of vampires who have used their power and influence to keep themselves hidden and very rich. Malachi isn't so sure he likes secrets, though, and has a habit of wandering out into human society. He assumes that anyone he meets knows that he's in charge, and will start commanding them immediately. He's buds with Hadrian, the reaper-in-training.
