I’m a shameless ingenue addict, and the dc body I had from another character—it was inexplicably the right height, and the right build for Mal’s backstory. It was also easy to mod to a girl.

Name story:

Mal/Mallory comes from a name meaning—Ill-fated if I recall correctly. Mal I know means bad in French. She was originally a darker au of Shrike’s storyline, and I wanted her name to reflect that

Mal and Shrike both work for a guild of assassins in the service of the goddess Fierene. Both were captured when they took a particularly brutal assignment that decimated their group. Shrike was rescued. Mal spent 5 years in a sensory deprivation dungeon, at the mercy of a sadistic god. That’s where she met, and first came to care for Amor, his daughter. Once they’re out, the two of them have a lot better time absconding to a far off realm.
