Her facial features immediately tugged at my heartstrings!

Best Points:

The lovely quality of her resin, her core joints, her proportions and most of all her head sculpt. She has the cutest face I’ve ever seen on a youth doll.

Worst Points:

I don’t like her factory faceup; it’s very low-effort. She has a tooth show, but the Dollmore artist painted right over it with the lip paint. Boo! I will be getting her repainted by a better artist. She was also strung very tightly :(

Unboxing experience: Lucy came to me with these odd-looking large iris 14mm acrylic eyes; I believe they were original to the doll, as the putty was the color Dollmore uses and was very dried out. The iris was a dull khaki color, and the eyes were very cheap in quality. I replaced them with 12mm/6mm iris handmade resin eyes; the size fits her perfectly, giving her a very realistic gaze (well, admittedly the bright green color isn’t so realistic, heh heh. But I love it with the red wig!)

She also came with a Dollmore branded platinum blonde mohair wig still in its package; the color made her look very washed out. The wig is long, but made of small strips of wefts sewn together down the length which makes any type of kid-appropriate styling impossible. I replaced it with a ginger-colored Monique wig I already had, her resin just glowed with the added color! Idk if her original owner had chosen the mohair wig she had, or if it was sent randomly.

Lucy is usually a ‘jeans and hoodies’ type of girl, but she loves pastels and bright colors as well as a cool funky print. She makes her own beaded necklaces and bracelets, so you’ll always see her decked out in her latest creations.

Name story:

When I was this age, I loved the Anne of Green Gables series of books. So I named her Lucy after the author. It’s a name that fits her really well.

Lucy is a sweet introverted tomboy. She loves to play outdoors with her friends and her twin brother; but also enjoys playing pretend alone in her room with her plushies, or reading cool mystery and ‘choose-your-adventure’ books.

She doesn’t like school very much, and would rather be carefree and have fun instead!

Lucy has a cat named Sybil. Her cat has a rather nasty disposition; she loves Lucy, but hates everyone else. You’ll often find Sybil hissing at whoever walks through the door, which Lucy finds quite hilarious

Lucy has a crafty side, she loves to make beaded jewelry for herself and her friends. Even her mom proudly wears her creations! She’s a budding artist who draws, colors and paints; her room is filled with portraits of her friends, family, pets and her favorite plushies
