Reason for choice:

A MSD boy doll was on my general wish list, and I had the opportunity to get this sweetie... I love his face sculpt, and his proportions make it easy to share clothing.

Best Points:

He’s a joy to pose compared to my other dolls. Probably because he’s not strung too tightly, whoever strung him was paying attention. I kind of dig the forlorn look on his face.

Worst Points:

His factory faceup doesn’t do his sculpt justice. I like the eyes, but the lips are covered in glossy goopy varnish that goes past his lip line. It’s gross. I will be sending this doll to an artist to improve his faceup in the future, he deserves it.

I had a bit of a tough time getting his style down, but now I’m happy with the result. The dark hazel eyes just brought out the personality in the face sculpt! Along with the brown and blonde wig. I think he’s look cute with curls as well, might get him a mohair wig in the future. He’s a delicate boy who is cute as a button.

Name story:

It just came to me in a flash! Prior to this I was calling him Bear, after his sculpt name. Lucas suits him better though. Theodore is named after one of my dogs.

Lucas is Lucy’s cousin. He loves to play and use his imagination to create wonderful stories where he is the hero of the day. He enjoys playing with little dolls and caring for them, as you can see in his picture. Lucy’s cat Sybil seems to have taken to him, and protects him ferociously as if he was her kitten! Haha.
