Johann was a medic for an exploration team. During one expedition, they were trapped in a snowstorm and the god of chaos tricked him into eating his comrades. Enraged and distraught by what he had done, he attacked the god and bit of his hand. In retaliation, the god cursed him, changing his appearance and giving him an unending craving for human flesh. After leaving the mountain, he did everything he could to make it stop, but ended up killing again. To atone for the horrendous acts he had committed and will likely commit again, he became a traveling doctor to hopefully heal more people than he hurts.
