Reason for choice:

HongLee was one of the first dolls I ever fell in love with, but I didn't seriously consider getting him until I started trying to find a doll to shell my OC Jessam. I went through a lot of choices before realizing HongLee would make the perfect Jessam, with his pretty features and mischievous smile. I chose the body for its lithe and slender build and matching resin.

Best Points:

His face is so expressive with so much personality, the resin match is almost perfect, and the body poses easily and intuitively.

Worst Points:

Head movement isn't the best.

Jessam is one of the protagonists from my novel Curseborn. He serves as a soldier for Aramy's rebel faction and is one of Aramy's most loyal followers. A skilled fighter, Jessam has mastered a graceful style that combines martial arts and dance - though you wouldn't know it from his loudmouthed personality and tendency to leap before he looks. Nonetheless, he's a natural leader with a gift for inspiring others.

To Jessam, nothing matters more than being free to live the way he wants, always chasing the next adventure. Settling down with someone seems like the worst possible fate. But when he meets Heron, he finds himself drawn to the strange but gentle boy, awakening feelings he didn't know he could experience. Maybe tying himself to another person won't be so bad after all, especially since it seems his journey has only just begun....
