Jay is one of the few female monster hunters. She's strong and stubborn, and pretty good for a mere mortal.
She meets Victoria in the bar she runs. In love at first sight, she courts her assiduously. They live thereafter happy days.
But Jay kills one of the northern shamans, Aylith, Xolotl's youngest daughter, decapitating her and leaving her remains in the forest.
She thus makes mortal enemies. Xoltol will take revenge on Victoria, Jay's lover. (to continue)
