She's a little goth elf. She has been banished by her colony and she rebels against them. She still loves little critters and takes good care of insects. But she now has to live as a mortal human and she has struggled a lot with her flesh prison and it has affected her mental state. She doesn't feel stable living knowing she will one day pass away so she wants it to come quick sometimes. Irene thinks that human mortal life is really hard for her and she can't bear the burden at times, giving in to temptation.

Luckily she found another colony while exploring the woods to clear her mind and came across a beautiful fae. They eventually fall in love and Irene starts thinking maybe this life that was given to her is worth it.
