Reason for choice:

I missed out on the Doll Chateau conjoined twins years ago and never found them secondhand. When these girls were released, I bought them immediately! The only doll release in my 17 years in the hobby that I instantly bought as soon as I saw them, without hesitation.

Best Points:

Ida because I wanted a three letter "I" name to match her sister. Dorothy because I had considered Dottie and Lottie for the girls, but already had an off topic doll named Lottie. St. Valentine from the HIM song.

Ida and Ivy are conjoined twin sisters born in 1920 and grew up as a circus/freak show attraction. Thankfully, the traveling group they perform with are good people and treat the girls well. Their act includes singing, playing piano, and dancing. Ida is very shy, and prefers to keep her eyes closed to avoid looking at the crowd, or people in general. She enjoys reading, sewing, watching plays, and tea parties. She is ladylike and polite, but also a bit of a doormat who won't stand up for herself, especially against her sister, who often controls her.
